Power Corporation of America (PCA), through our subsidiaries, constructs and maintains energy infrastructure systems including transmission lines, drilled pier foundations, distribution systems, substations, environmental, right of way clearing, and other electrical installations for the power utility industry; supporting the transportation of energy delivered to businesses and families across the Southeast and mid-Atlantic regions of the United States and Texas.

In an effort to minimize our environmental impact and footprint in the regions of which we work, PCA will strive to:

  • Continue our recycling efforts associated with recyclable construction materials by partnering with our customers to ensure these materials are recycled at designated recycling centers.
  • Maintain our right-of-way restoration efforts.
  • Uphold our Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan for our construction work site activities for compliance with the Clean Water Act.
  • Reduce the impact of our carbon footprint emissions by maintaining a late model fleet of vehicles and equipment.
  • Recycling of our oil, fluid, and lubricants.
  • Voluntarily establishing “Green” initiatives for our regional office locations by:
    • Reduction in the use of lighting, which reduces power usage.
    • Installation of energy efficient appliances, thermostats, etc.
    • The use of LED’s when applicable.
    • Use of paper recycling.
    • Reduction in the use of styrofoam and plastic products.
    • Implementation of an aluminum-recycling program that donates the proceeds to local charities.
    • Migration to a web-based employment application process to assist in the decrease of our use of paper products and printer cartridges.

Jason Spivey

President
Jason M. Spivey has been involved in the electrical construction industry for over 30 years and holds electrical licenses in 15 states. Mr. Spivey started his electrical career as an Apprentice with Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) and advanced to the positions of Troubleman, Transmission Lineman, as a Certified Journeyman and Transmission Foreman. In 2010, Mr. Spivey was promoted to Transmission Line Supervisor at OUC, a position he held for 5 years. In 2015, Mr. Spivey joined Southeast Power Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of PCA, as a Project Manager for the Florida Regional Office. Mr. Spivey was promoted to Assistant Vice President of the Florida Region and then in June of 2017, Mr. Spivey was promoted to President of Southeast Power Corporation and Power Corporation of America. In September of 2018, the Foundation Division of Southeast Power Corporation became Precision Foundations, to which Mr. Spivey is President. Precision Foundations, Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of GridTek Utility Services.

Andrew Pisciotto

Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer
Andrew Pisciotto joined The Company in 2015 and is the Power Corporation of America Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Andrew was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2022, Chief Financial Officer in 2021 and Vice President in 2020. Prior to joining the Company he served in a management role with Ernst & Young, LLP. Andrew is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Florida and earned his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from The University of Florida.

Charles Taylor

Director of Operations
Charles Taylor started his career in the electrical construction industry in 1998 as an Apprentice in distribution construction with Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). He advanced to the positions of Journeyman Distribution Lineman (OH &UG) and Journeyman Transmission Lineman. In 2015, Mr. Taylor was promoted to Transmission Line Supervisor, a position he held for 6 years. In 2021 Mr. Taylor joined Power Corporation of America as the Director of Operations.

Mike Fisher

Fleet Manager, Logistics, and D.O.T Compliance Manager
Mike Fisher was promoted to Fleet Manager for Power Corporation of America in 2016. He is responsible for all aspects of fleet management for the group of companies. Mr. Fisher has close to 30 years of experience with heavy equipment. Mr. Fisher started his career at Southeast Power Corporation in 1989 as a Lube Man. Mr. Fisher was promoted to a Field Mechanic in 1991. In 1995, Mr. Fisher was promoted to Shop Supervisor. Mr. Fisher is a U.S. Military Veteran; he served in the U.S. Army from 1978 to 1983 as a PFC, Combat Engineer in the 24th Infantry at Fort Stewart, GA.

Dennis Rondeau

Director of Fleet Maintenance
Dennis Rondeau was promoted to Director of Fleet Maintenance for Power Corporation of America in 2020. Dennis plays a vital role in overseeing all Company vehicles and equipment. He works alongside the Company’s subsidiaries to ensure all maintenance and repairs are done on time and to confirm the quality, compliance, safety, and operational efficiency of the work. Mr. Rondeau started with one of PCA’s subsidiaries, Southeast Power Corporation, in 2013 as a Shop Technician. In 2015, Mr. Rondeau was promoted to Shop Foreman followed by an additional promotion in 2016 as the Shop Supervisor. Mr. Rondeau has a total of 34 years’ experience in the automotive and heavy equipment maintenance and repair industry. His formal education was completed from 1984 to 1987 where he attended an after school automotive program at a Regional Vocational Technical School concentrating in all aspects of automotive repair. In addition to his program attendance, Mr. Rondeau holds several certifications for light and heavy-duty truck and trailer repair, air brake endorsement, automotive air conditioning and DOT Inspections.

Jennifer Cunningham

HR Manager
Jennifer Cunningham started her career at Power Corporation of America in 2014 as an Executive Administrative Assistant. She was promoted to HR specialist in 2015 before taking on the role of The People and Culture Coordinator, and in July 2021, HR Manager. Ms. Cunningham is responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of recruitment and onboarding, employee relations and HR management within the group of companies. Her expertise includes compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, as well as operating as the liaison between our electrical construction subsidiaries and insurance companies involving insurance related claims handling. Ms. Cunningham received her B.A. in Interpersonal Communications & Marketing degree from St. Ambrose University. In 2019, she obtained her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certificate from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI).

OSHA ET&D

The Electrical Transmission & Distribution Partnership is a formal collaboration of industry stakeholders, working together to improve safety for workers in the electric line construction industry. It is one of only a few national partnerships between employers and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

OSHA ET&D partnership goals include but are not limited to:

    • Analyze accident and incident data to identify common causes for fatalities, injuries and illnesses suffered by linemen, apprentices and other appropriate job classifications.
    • Develop recommended Best Practices for each identified cause.
    • Develop implementation strategies for each Best Practice and promote their implementation among the partners.
    • Identify training criteria for foremen, general foremen, supervisors, linemen and apprentices, including training to create an industry culture change to place value on safety and health.
